PlzReviewUs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website plzreviewus.com and the related review-collection service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google account identifier. If you register with a password, we store only a securely hashed version of it.
Business information. To run the Service, we store the business details you provide or select, including business name, industry, address, and Google Place ID.
Review data. When a customer leaves feedback through your widget, we process the ratings they enter, the review text that is generated or written, and any name they choose to provide.
Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe does. We retain a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status.
Usage and technical data. We automatically collect limited technical data such as IP address and request logs, which we use for security, rate limiting, and operating the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To generate review drafts using AI based on the ratings a customer submits.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
How AI is used
Review suggestions are generated by a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) using your business details and the ratings a customer enters. We do not use this data to train our own models.
Third-party services (subprocessors)
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google — sign-in (OAuth), business search (Places API), and review generation (Gemini)
- Vercel — application hosting
- Neon — database hosting
These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies, primarily to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
